David Emilio Lobato

1946 - 2023

Our loving father and grandfather passed away on April 12, 2023 at the age of 76. Dave was born in Dragerton, Utah to Clara and Jose Lobato. Dave served in the Army after graduation and later attended the University of Utah. He started his career as a stockbroker in his 20s, went on to achieve success in real estate and received many awards in his long career in sales. He was known for being the ultimate salesman. Dave was passionate about helping others and enjoyed volunteering with Al-Anon and supporting friends at the American Legion. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was known for lighting up the room with his classic jokes and boisterous laugh. His most prized achievement was his role as Grandpa!

Dave is survived by his children Abby, Kim, Kelly, Kari, his 4 grandchildren Kate, Taren, Cohen, Chloe, his wife Sheila, his siblings Maryann, Chuck, Dale, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose, Clara and siblings Tiny, Jim and Richard.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, SLC, UT. Dave will be laid to rest at the Price City Cemetery.

I remember when Dave would show up for his grandkids birthdays, he was always dressed to the nines and had a smile that "lit up the room".
May you redt In Peace.
You will be missed.
