David Lucchetti Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 5, 2022.
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of David "Doc" Lucchetti of Pacifica, California at the age of 33 years.
David will be lovingly remembered by his wife Valerie, daughter Ellie, son Leo, father Doug, mother Barbara, siblings: Jonathon, Heather, Jason and Kaitlynn; as well as many other family and friends.

While his life was cut short, he made an indelible mark on so many lives. He served honorably in the Army for 4 years, followed by 7 years in the San Francisco and Lakewood police departments.

David was a quiet and humble man with a big heart and giving spirit. He enjoyed simply being at home with his close friends and family, enjoying a burger and movie. When not in a uniform, his standard attire was his favorite cowboy boots and a flannel. David always gave all he had for others without hesitation; selflessness and generosity were two traits that highlighted his personality.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held for David Lucchetti at First Baptist Church, 5400 112th St SW, Lakewood, WA at 2pm on June 11, 2022.

Dear Family & Friends,

A law enforcement officer who worked with David Lucchetti in California requested prayers for him and his family. We remembered David during a Blue Mass for First Responders at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fairfield, CA, on Sept. 29, 2022. This Blue Mass is a registered activity of the National Faith & Blue Weekend.

Please accept my deepest condolences during this time.

Rest easy, Doc.

Very Respectfully,
Police Chaplain D. Purificacion

I am so sadden and can still remember meeting him when his Mother brought him into the shop for a hair cut when he was about three years old. And I have continue to cut his hair until he moved away. I have had the pleasure of meeting and providing haircuts to his whole family and was delighted when I cut David's son hair. David comes from a beautiful family. My thoughts and prayers for David and his family. Amy

It saddens me to know you are gone. It was always a pleasure working with you at the gate and the PMO. All the funny moments we had playing Call of duty when our kids allowed us. Rest easy brother. You will forever be in our hearts.

I am grateful and honored to have met, known, worked with, and shared time with David. At work, everytime I saw his name on the schedule next to mine, I knew it was going to be an awesome night. So there were many slow nights and for many hours during a shift we just talked about EVERYTHING, was awesome cause conversations never were dull, his smile alone would make me smile and sometimes laugh without a spoken word. Loved the conversations about the military, small and big conspiracy theories, the daily news, local and nationally, the deep talks about our familys and loved ones, the discussions about our time on active duty, we both laughed and would bash California, cause both of us lived there and saw over time how it changed. The talks about our homes and how we both had dreams of fixing up every little thing. Cause he was NOT afraid of doing anything when it came to work. I want all who read this know that my heart goes out to them for the loss of such an outstanding, lovable person. I will miss him very much. Cause he was one of the GOOD GUYS out here. Anyone who worked or served with him always knew that he had our backs, which says all you need to really know to anyone who understands SERVICE, Again, I'm so sorry for everyones loss, and to end this,,,,, "David, I miss you brother, know that I love you and your family"

David, I can not believe that I will no longer hear your voice, see your face, or be able to shoot you a text when i need someone to talk to. You were an amazing human that put everyone else first in your life. I know there is nothing that I can do to change what has happened, but i vow that I will be there for your family for the rest of my life. Go rest high on that mountain brother.

My deepest condolences. I was David´s FTO when he joined the police department, he was a great recruit with a big heart! I even had to tell him to be more mean sometimes! He was too good.. I wish with all my heart he would have reached out for help. We never know the battles people are fighting. May God wrap his arms around his family and may he be at peace.
