Cary, North Carolina - The family of David Keith Lytle is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved brother and uncle.
David was born November 19, 1958 in Montgomery, Maryland to Paul Edward Lytle, Sr. and Betty Lee Setzer. He died October 30th having lived and loved 63 years. He is survived by his beloved brother Paul Lytle, Jr. and his wife Patricia Lytle of Edgewater, FL; his sister-in-law Loanda Blansett of Cary, NC; his cousin Elayne Hollen of San Antonio, TX; his nieces Christine Swank and her husband Kerry Swank of Cary, NC; Tamatha Lucas and her husband Karl Lucas of Concord, NC; Shannon Karl and her husband Randy Karl of Lincolnton, NC; Brittanie Lytle of Mims, FL; and his nephew Thomas Klug of Cary, NC. He also leaves a loving legacy of 12 great-nieces and nephews who cherish him. David made friends wherever he went and there are many that will miss him greatly.
We release our brother and uncle on angels' wings to be received into the loving hands of God and his beloved ancestors who have gone on before him. We pray for his peace and his salvation in the wisdom of the circle of life in the natural world.
David was passionate about surrealism and his artwork continues to be popular with family and friends. David and his unique and beautiful art will be forever remembered as Christine compiles his favorite pieces in his collection to create a special memory book to be shared with family and friends.
David's last words were that he wished peace and happiness for everyone around the world and he tells us what a long strange trip it's been.
An intimate family memorial will be held in Old Fort, NC.
