Bob and family! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your Dad coached us many years ago on Granite City Electric. As a coach and father , you always remember those attributes of those who coached and taught us along the way. It is with fondness that I remember your dad as, yes a coach but more importantly, a gentlemen! My best to you and your families.

Best wishes for a day of fond memories to the MacIntosh family. My dad attended Harvard with Mr. MacIntosh. Many years later, his son Bob and I met in graduate school. A few years ago, we enjoyed what was probably their last game at Fenway with three fine gentlemen: David MacIntosh, Ed Ingalls, and Bill Lee. When the crowd rose, they'd begin getting out of their seats. By the time they were up, everyone else was on the way down. But they made it. They were gamers. And they enjoyed seeing each other, which was a treat for their three sons there with them. When my dad passed away a few years ago, I was so impressed that Bob MacIntosh and Eddie Ingalls made their way to the Harvard Club for the reception. Where did they get that sense of class, that respect for their fathers' old ties? You guessed it: their dads. May we all continue to meet that standard.
Fondly,
