David D. Main

LINCOLN, R.I. — David D. Main, 49, of Lincoln, R.I., was killed while making a deposit at the Citizens Bank in Woonsocket, R.I., on Sept. 20, 2010.

He was the husband of Kathleen (Carr) Main.

Born in Pawtucket, R.I., he was the son of David and Bonnie (Bergstrom) Main of East Dennis. He resided in Lincoln for most of his life.

He was a 1980 graduate of Lincoln High School, and a member of the Lincoln High Lions football team.

Mr. Main was employed as a store manager for Shell Inc. for the past two years and previously a manager for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. He and his wife also owned Main Deli of Smithfield, R.I.

He loved to golf and fish, and especially loved the Cape and to go fishing on the Emma Jack with his cousin Mike Harney.

Besides his beloved wife, he leaves a cherished son Michael Main, a senior at Lincoln High; grandmother Irene Bergstrom of Yarmouthport; two sisters, Deborah Main and Heather Hitchen of Lincoln, R.I.; two aunts, Donna Harney of Yarmouth and Linda Fanning of Dennisport; and two uncles, William Bergstrom of Yarmouth and Karl Bergstrom of Fort Myers, Fla.
