David Malinosky Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 7, 2023.
David G. Malinosky passed away peacefully at his home in Boca Raton, FL on November 28,2023. David grew up in West Hartford CT, and attended Wm Hall High School where he would showcase his latest VW. David was a mechanic with a passion for all things Volkswagen. He was a true Mr. Fix it and would always offer to help even if you were unsure of his MacGyver ways. David moved to Tarrifville, CT where he raised his son and the true apple of his eye Christopher. David spent many hours at the hockey rinks enjoying watching his son play. David worked for the Marriott hotel group as well as others as a Mechanical Engineer a career he continued when he relocated to Boca Raton. David loved the hot weather, NASCAR, mud bogging, his dogs and always stayed true to the Mets and the Jets! He had a wonderful community of friends and neighbors in Boca who would gather often to celebrate holidays, birthdays, retirements, you name it, they celebrated. David is survived by his son Christopher of Boca Raton, his brothers, Paul Malinosky of Suffield, CT, Van Malinosky and his wife Marie of New Hartford, CT and his sister Jessica Serrao and her husband Giovanni of Wethersfield, CT. He was pre-deceased by his parents Paul and Carola Malinosky and a younger brother, Christopher Adam. David has many nieces and nephews who can all tell stories of the fun and mischief that was ever present with "Uncle David". David also leaves his many Norwegian relatives including Aunt Kine and Uncle Soren and his many cousins. David will be missed by all. The family will hold a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the juvenile diabetes fund.
