David V. Manners

Manners...what do I say ...you were a friend to me from day one. You were one of the most genuine souls I ever met. Everyone who met you were better for it. This world was a better place with you and Miller in it. I’m sure there is a great jam session happening right now. Knowing you, I know you loved your family more than everything , I pray for their comfort in your passing. YNot...❤

How can we even try to understand the significance of the Greater Cause when confronted with such inexplicable injustice...But we must.

I’m very sorry for your loss. Dave was a good friend while attending Our Lady of Loreto and WC together.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with David when he was a graduate student in Goshen Hall at West Chester University. I remember how kind, genuine and insightful he was. I know he made a difference in the lives of the many staff members and students he interacted with back then, and it is evident he continued to do so. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

David will be missed very much by family and friends. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to camp with David, Tiffany, Liam, Cole and Aidia this past summer. We made great camping, fishing, and swimming pool memories. We will all treasure that time we spent together. David will always have a special place in our hearts as he served as our altar boy for our wedding at Our Lady of Loretta Church. David will always be in our thoughts and prayers. May God's loving angels be with you in heaven.

Dave was like a bright ray of sunshine that will never be forgotten.

I remember David well when he was in my 6th grade class at Loreto . He was a great kid and grew into a wonderful man! Prayers for family and friends.

My name is Conner Garrison. I am a graduate of Central Bucks West High School Class of 2019. Mr. Manners was my advisor during my years in high school. I moved from California to Pennsylvania midway through my high school years. Mr. Manners was the one who truly helped me get adjusted to the new school and new environment. He was always so kind and open to helping me with anything. I was very shocked hearing of his death, and I am mourning with the Manners family today. He was a great person and will continue to live on as a great person in our memories. He will be missed.

Dear Tiffany, Sending you my deep sympathy. I loved getting to know Dave and you during our meditation sessions. From a poem by one of your sons posted, it is evident that your children carry the same sensitivity and kindness that the two of you have. From the photo it is evident that they also share the sense of humor that you both embrace. My heart goes out to you all. Dave is definitely with us all in spirit. He is truly one of those people who impress upon the soul the possibility of a world of kindness, commitment and joy. Sending you all a big virtual hug.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave until my retirement in 2015. He was always one of my favorite counselors. He knew how to work with teachers and students. His humor, wit and wisdom were such an asset to our school. CBW will miss him.

I am so honored to have met Dave through our cohort at WCU and to have continued getting to know him (and then you, Tiffany) in our morning meetings when he was able to join us.
