Barbara and family,
I met Dave originally in the Army Reserves in the North Hills. He was always a positive and welcoming person. He later joined the POG, where he had a renewal of his faith in the Lord. He was always an encouraging person. May the Lord bless you and yours during this time of your loss. Peace, John Forgione

Barb and Children,
I was so sorry to hear of David's passing. I have known David most of my life thru my brother, Dale and the Midgley clan. Just know that he is no longer in pain and someday you will meet again. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time of heartbreak. God Bless You

Dearest Barb, & Children & Donovan Family,
It is with deep regrets that I could not make it to the funeral home, because of illness. Didn't want to spread it over your families with all you've been through.
Just know that as always, you're all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. He is with God now and all his pain's are gone. He will be with you every moment of every day. When you see it snowing, when it's raining, the stars in the sky, will be him smiling at you and sending you his strength to get through this.
If there is anything at all, we can do, please do not hesitate to call us.
Love,
Phyllis, Craig & James Stein

Barbara & family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could have been there to help comfort you, but I've moved to Atlanta. David was a wonderful person. I had the pleasure of meeting him at my first Army Reserve unit in 1991 and kept in touch with him throughout the years, culminating as his supervisor until his retirement. He will truly be missed. I pray you will be comforted in the days ahead; when the family and friends have gone and you sit in the quiet, remembering…May God continue to bless and keep you.

Barb and Family,
A message from an old friend from way back in Clarion. I knew David mostly by reputation many years ago when Barb was a great friend to me back in college. I knew him to be a good guy and the memories entered in this book prove that to have been even more true in the years that have passed.
Barb I am sorry for your loss and I pray that God fills you with HIS peace.

David was a Fantastic Person! I knew him from when I was a small child into adulthood - I always saw a smiling face and a loving heart. Anyone who ever met him was left feeling better than before. He had an extaordinarily kind, generous spirit. The sun shines a little less brighter with him gone. But, I know he will be watching us from above and sending his love to us. I will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with Barb and their children and grandchildren. God Bless You all.

To all those that knew Dave, my heart goes out to you. Being a former DE for Montour I feel deep loss and much empathy for our Scout family as well as Dave's personal family. I know how important it is to "let go and let God". I will offer prayers during this time of mourning and know that God allows no accidents and that He is looking forward to having his son join him in heaven.

I am very sorry for your loss. Mr. Marshall was a great guy. So giving and loving you would think his heart would be three times the size of anyone else. My favorite story to tell about him is when I went on a missiontrip with him in the summer of 2006. I did not bring an air mattress and so sleeping was very hard the first night. Mr. Marshall told me how someone had an extra airmatress and would be willing to let me use it. That night I found it outside my door like a present. THe next day when I asked whose it was so I could thank him M. Marshall wouldn't tell me. I finally figured out it was his and said, "Thank You Santa!" And from that point on that is what I called him. I will truly miss him and think of him every christmas and always. He was truly a blessing to everyone around him.

I have been a life long friend of the Marshall family. To all of the siblings remember the Sunday morning visits to our house after church. We all had fun at the farm growing up and I will always remember David with his smiling face. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this time.

My heartfelt sympathy and prayers to Barbara and family. Attending Mass at Holy Trinity was my only connection of knowing you. Yet, David had such a strong, peaceful persona that emanated to everyone around him that was so welcoming. He will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,
