David Wilson McCoy David McCoy took his last ride at his home on June 12, 2024 at the age of 69.

Dave was a retired diesel mechanic who, after graduating in 1973 from Clifton Forge high school in Virginia, started his journey driving over-the-road semis for over 20 years before graduating school as a mechanic. Dave's favorite pastime was riding his motorcycle and sharing that with his many friends that he called family.

Dave is survived by his wife, Donna (Carter); Sons, David (Kristen) McCoy, Paul (Emily) McCoy, and Daniel McCoy; daughter, Angela (Larry) Taylor; Stepdaughters, Helen Bunting and Sarah Burgan, Aunt Cindy, 16 grandchildren and a huge extended family.

So sorry to hear about this. Dave and I were childhood friends from Lambs Creek Pa and we had many many good times together until the flood of 1972 and Dave moved away. Oh, the stories I could tell. I wish I could have known him later in life. God bless his family. Dick Frank

I spent most of my childhood glued to my dad. I had to be near him at all times, like a tiny (adorable) shadow. He called me "PJ" because I was his "pride and joy". I have tons of funny, sad, difficult stories I could tell you but this, these photos, my memories... I´ll hold onto.
