David Patrick McDaniel

David Patrick McDaniel passed away on February 26, 2023 surrounded by his loving family members. He was the son of Rosalee and the late James David McDaniel. He was born in Salisbury on March 17, 1964. David resided in Nanticoke with his lifetime love of 30 years, Joan Murphy.

David attended Wicomico High School and later joined the U.S. Marines. He and his father owned and operated a domestic cleaning service called Maid Brigade. He later ventured out and owned his own cleaning service called DM Services.

David was a very loving brother, son, and uncle. He loved spending time talking with all his community friends and family. David was an extremely sociable person that did not know any strangers. "His heart was larger than his body" and he was embraced by everyone that interacted with him. David enjoyed spending his time vacationing, indulging in water sports, and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, as he was an avid cook.

David was preceded in death by his father , James David McDaniel and his twin sons, Joshua David and James Elmer McDaniel. He is survived by his longtime love, Joan Murphy; his mother, Rosalee Lynch McDaniel; three sisters Christine Lee and Donaldson Twyman; Jeri Ann Miller; Susan Lynn McDaniel. One niece, Melissa Leigh King; and two nephews, Stephen Colby and Randall Adam Miller.

There will be a "Celebration Of Life" memorial service on Saturday March 4, 2023 at West Side Fire Department, located at 21045 Nanticoke Rd., Bivalve, MD. The visitation will begin at 2:00 PM and the service will start at 3:00 PM. There will be a repast immediately following the service sponsored by the West Side Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the West Side Fire Department at 21045 Nanticoke Rd., Bivalve, MD 21814.
