DAVID McINTYRE Obituary
Age 11, of Mt. Oliver, formerly of the South Side, unexpectedly, on Sunday, November 1, 2015. Beloved son of Amanda McKnight; and stepson of David McKnight, Jr; beloved brother of CJ Mikula-Conrad, Bryan McIntyre as well as Kassandra Scullio and Michael McIntyre; beloved grandson of Frank J. Mikula, Sr.; beloved nephew of Amy (Kenneth) King and Angela Mikula; also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, November 13, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the JOHN J. GMITER FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 119 South 15th St., South Side. Funeral Service on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the South Side Presbyterian Church, Sarah St. Donations may be made to either the family or to CORE.

I still miss him so much and not a day goes by that I don´t think about him. David had a huge impact on my life and he was one of the greatest friends I ever had and I´ll be forever grateful for the memories that we have and the bond that we shared together

Mandy I am so sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral home to tell you this in person but I am so sorry for what has happened to your sons. I have a memory of you and David walking in front of me and my boyfriend in southside a few years ago where you told him to watch out for the bumblebees and he said back to you " mommy what's a bunglebee?" It was the cutest little voice and me and my boyfriend still talk about that. Rest in peace to our forever BUNGLEBEE!
