I first remember David as a Sunday School teacher at the old school in Greenhill village. A decade ahead of me in age, as organist & choir master David became an integral part of our exciting 'new' round church. He was always there over the years to have a word & reminisce with whenever I occasionally visited my home town & worshipped at St Peter's. David, thank you for that & for all the other ways in which you contributed to parish life. I shall miss your physical presence if I am ever able to visit again, but there will always be something of you in that building.
