Dr. David Neal Miller, age 72, born January 8, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY, died April 14, 2018. Preceded in death by his wife Marcy Miller, parents Samuel and Helen Miller. He is survived by his wife, Renee Primack; son, Jacob Miller; daughter, Rachel Miller; step daughter, Kayla Gal; granddaughter, Aliya. Dovid was a Professor of Yiddish and Ashkenazic Studies at The Ohio State University for 38 years where he assumed the role of Director of the program. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 18 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery – Beth Tikvah section. Shiva will be observed at the Miller residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either The Brooklyn Historical Society, 718-222-4111, ext. 240, www.brooklynhistory.org or The Yiddish Farm Education Center, run by a grandson of Dovid's Yiddish teacher Mordkhe Schaechter at www.yiddishfarm.org Online guestbook at www.epsteinmemorial.com
