David Murdoch

Rest well, Dave.

Dave was a wonderful colleague and mentor. When I was a junior faculty member, Dave's graciousness, warmth and erudition helped me greatly as I entered into my new profession. You will be missed, Professor Murdoch.

Dave was a great colleague. I came to RIT as a very young professor -- Dave took me under his wing and made me feel welcome. Fond memories of him, indeed.

Dave was a fine colleague--always friendly, witty, but at the same time always seriously concerned and engaged with the world problems of our time.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of David. He was a great guy with a great family. I had connection with David and family as a teacher and coach at Seneca Falls as well as a coach at Eisenhower College. It was always nice to talk, sometimes in the midst of my run down Lower Lake Rd, to get caught up on how the family was doing. I know many will be thinking of him.
