DAVID NABEREZNY Obituary
Unexpectedly, on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Beloved husband of 35 years of Mary Ann; father of Tara (Mike) Kurta, Jr. and David (Wendy) Naberezny. He adored his grandchildren, Mikayla Ann Kurta and Hailey Marie Naberezny. They were the light of his life. Son of the late Michael and Helen Naberezny; nephew of Eva Hlovchiec; brother-in-law of Rosemarie and Ron Muller and Carol Pryor (Larry) Urland; uncle of Dylan and Corey Muller and Jason and Jenny Pryor and Brian Pryor; great-uncle of Jared Pryor; also survived by many cousins. Friends received 4-9 p.m. Thursday and 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday at the THOMAS P. KUNSAK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3552 California Ave. at Davis Ave. A Funeral Service will be held in St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. He was an Iron Worker of Local 3 for nine years. He has been a correctional officer at the Allegheny County Jail for the past 25 years.

Today will be so difficult, this is the last day that I will see my Love until we meet again. He still brought butterflies to my stomach when I would see him. David gave me and the children such a wonderful life and I am going to be so lost without him. He was loved by so many people. David my Love, I miss you so much! Your are my one and only! My heart is breaking, I can't believe your are not with me. I know you will be watching over me and the children. I Love You David!

Nebo family,
Im sorry to hear about the big guy. We all had so many great memories up at St. Francis/Risen Lord. Those were the best of times and Nebo was one of the ones that made it great.

Mary Ann and family, It really hurt to hear about Dave "Nebo". I relieved Nebo for 8 Years at the Annex. We had a lot of laughs. Nebo, Jace Young, & Bruce Helt were on the 7 to 3 shift and Scott Jackson, John Besselmen, and myself were on the 3 to 11 shift. My family and I are praying for you to help you get through this time of sorrow. May God give you strength & peace.

I've come to know "Nebo" through working with him at the ACJ. I may not have known him as well as some but I know that he was a very kind, wonderful, and thoughtful man. It was my pleasure to have known and worked with "nebo" ove the years.

I worked with your husband/father at the ACJ. When I was new he always showed me kindness. Over the years I had the pleasure of hearing stories about his family and it was easy to see how much he loved you all. He will be greatly missed. Daddy why did you have to leave us so soon. Life is going to be so different without you. I love you so much, more the words can ever describe.
