Warm memories of time spent on Lake Champlain with Uncle David and family. He will be missed.

To all the Nelligan family, we send our deepest sympathy. The David we knew was a young David, full of high jinks and laughter despite his health issues. We always enjoyed being with him, his siblings and parents. We have fond memories of those family visits. Thinking of you at this, as Brian says, this bittersweet time: the west coast Bells: Aunt Ellen, cousins Ritchie, Dennis and Susan.

David was our family doctor when we moved back to Hudson in the late seventies...a very kind and caring man. I am sorry for your loss...

Dr. Nelligan came to our town after Dr. Barr and he was our family doctor for many years. He assisted our family through both joyous events and difficult illnesses. I always felt safe with this kind man and as a child, I kind of thought of him as how Abe Lincoln might of looked. I guess I saw him that way.

We will miss you Uncle David. My sisters and I have the best childhood memories with our Uncle and cousins. I have no doubt he is with our Nana right now telling jokes.

What a lovely man who was so patient with this new mother more 27 years ago!! He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. My sympathies to his family and close friends. Rest in Peace.

A bittersweet time. As his brother, I am happy he is in a better place but I will miss him forever.

Derek, Michael and Wendy

I just heard the news and I want to share with you my deepest sympathies. I worked with David for 17 years and we became friends along the way. He was a very big part of my life and I will cherish that forever. There was not a day that went by in the office that he did not mention you boys and he loved bragging about you both. Wendy, we did not get to know each other well but I know that you came along at the right moment in his life and I will always be thankful for that. If you like, it would be nice to meet each other and just talk about David and what he meant to all of the people he touched. Please remember that I am thinking of you and if I can do anything to help or ease this time, let me know.
