Dear Becky ,
I´m so sorry to hear that David has been ill with cancer and passed on .
I know the variety of ways I felt and still feel when Alan had the same illness and passed but don´t know how you are feeling .Please remember I´m just a phone call away and have good listening ears and am here for you anytime.
I will always remember about forty years ago when you lived in California and invited Alan and me to stay at your home and helped us find a home to live in as we were moving there ourselves . There was such a feeling of loving care radiating from your soul which was so comforting and you were directed to find the exact home where our Father in Heaven had prepared for us live .
Earth is an interesting chapter in our Eternal lives .
Please know you and your family are loved by me .
Sincerely, Your cousin Julie

I have known Dave through insurance industry events and some travel for a couple of decades. My heart sank when I saw the news of his passing, as I did not know that he had been ill.
Dave has always been so friendly and kind to all that cross his path; I felt his genuine concern on multiple occasions. Mutual friends that we both share, but know him at a deeper level than me, all hold him in the highest regard.
My love and prayers go out to his wife, Becky, family, and friends at this difficult time.
He is gone too soon, but his legacy will last for a very long time. God bless those of you that are hurting from this tremendous loss. I hope and believe you will feel him near you in loving and surprising ways.

I have know Dave (David) from the Insurance industry for over 20 years, and I have been impressed with his honesty, integrity, professionalism and his cordial demeanor and his sincerity. Please know that I will donate in his honor to one of my favorite charities to benefit the homeless and downtrodden. God bless you now and always!

It was a distinct privilege to work with Dave for over a decade at First Security/Wells Fargo Insurance. He was a true professional, ensuring that his clients came first. And he dealt with all people in the humblest of ways, always with kindness and a sense of humor. We last had the opportunity to work together in 2018 where I asked him to assist me with a client. Once again, he displayed true professionalism and honesty. Dave was simply a great man. God bless the Nelson Family.

Dave was one of my favorite coworkers & friends. Always so positive & uplifting. I moved back to NW Georgia in 2007, but often think of my Utah friends. Dave has come to mind throughout the years since, he made a strong impression on me. I learned so much from his commitment to the Lord, his caring attitude & skillful management of his employees, whom he considered friends. I know you'll miss Dave until you see him again. I pray for your comfort, & that all the wonderful memories will carry you through till then.
