Starla, Danny, I won't say I can't imagine how you feel because you know I do. The death of a son or daughter at any age is impossible to fathom but in the prime of life it's impossible to wrap yourself around. I remember well and yet vision it as a dream. When people would say, I'm sorry, have faith it will get easier with time..Almost eight years since I lost my daughter. It has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone. Words cannot express my sorrow at hearing of the loss of your dear son David, and there are no words to comfort you and Mikey either. You can't make sense out of a tragedy like this and he has left this life way too young and too soon.
