Maxine, I was deeply saddened when I learned of David's passing, and I am so sorry that I did not have the opportunity to visit him one last time. I want you to know that I feel very blessed to have gotten to know David-- our visits and chats meant so much to me, and he was the highlight of my day whenever I visited. Thank you both for your warmth and kindness, and most especially for the joy in living that you both shared so generously with me. I will miss David very much. I am so grateful for the beautiful impact he made on my life. Please pass on my love and deepest condolences to Heather, Brian, Leta, and Bryce. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the world is being especially kind to all of you. I will be in touch. You have my heartfelt sympathy. With love.

Very sorry to hear of your great loss of a great man. Such a young age but the lord wanted him at this point in time.
