David Posey Obituary
David William Posey answered heaven's call on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at the age of 37. Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 26, at 11 a.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, with Steve Slayton officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
David was born in Chicago, Ill. and resided in Muscle Shoals. He was an iron worker and loved hunting, fishing, and working at the garage on race cars. David will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Floyd and Joy Posey; and also his grandfather, Earl Berryhill.
Survivors include his mother, Carol Ledlow (Doug); father, Melford E. Posey; grandmother, Jackie Berryhill; and sister, Sandy Palmere (Frank).
Pallbearers will be Casey Cornelius, Nicholas Thompson, Brady Ledlow, Casey Ledlow, Frankie Palmere, Kevin Bonds, A.J. Ledlow, and Gary Ledlow.
The family acknowledges, with grateful appreciation, the staff of Helen Keller ICU for their loving care.
