I miss you, Dave

Dave was like a big brother to me. Growing up with all women and then Dave comes around and showed me how to be a man. I looked up to him more than anyone else. He was my best friend. I remember rushing home the day you guys moved back to Oklahoma, just so I could give him something before he left, but I was too late. He had waited for me tho, but had to go. And left me a little post it on my computer, that said "had to go, see ya soon brother". Which I did see him a few times after, but not enough. And I remember getting a few calls from him and I wish I would have told him how much I appreciated everything he had done for me, but I think he knew. I have all sorts of funny stories and I might be able to find some old pictures. I'd love to give you a copy of any pictures I can find and would love to share stories with you too. Arianne can always get ahold of me and if I find any pictures, I'll have her send them

Your son was the best person I have had in my life to this day...I think about him everyday.......

December 9, 2015 would have been your 30th Birthday. It is beyond sad you are not here to celebrate it with me and Dad.

You are missed and mourned daily, as well as deeply loved daily. I am proud to have been your mother.

Your birthday. Dad and I made a flower arrangement for you and placed it near your favorite outside chair and wished you peace. I thank each of you who made contact with me expressing their love for David.

David you were a beautiful baby and I am so so sad you missed your birthday and are gone. However you are missed daily and thought of and loved each day by me. I miss hearing the word mom. I miss the laughter. I am proud of you for every day you lived and for the love you returned. Peace my son I hold you forever in my heart!

Dave, Today's your birthday, I really want to celebrate that, Not a day goes by I don't miss you, man. Things just aren't the same without you and I truly wish we had gotten more time. David was one of my best childhood friends. Wrestling, skateboarding, biking, and the mini mart candy stops while trying to stay out of trouble were just part of our lives. Thank you so much for some wonderful memories and the great friendship we had! From the Wights, McCatherns, and Conaways. I can't remember a time that you all weren't in my life. I remember David, me and the other neighborhood kids would play all the time. One time we built this ramp out of scrap wood we found and would take turns trying to do stunts on our bikes and rollerblades. David, Chris and I were the only ones that would start at the top of the street and hit the ramp going as fast as we could. David was the first one to actually land after doing a trick on the ramp. After a few times we wanted to go right behind each other. Not the safest idea. David was in front, I was in the middle and Chris was in the back. We got going so fast that I lost a wheel on my rollerblades. We hit the ramp and it was almost an instant wreck. I fell forward, David fell backward and Chris fell ontop of us. We just layed there for a while laughing. I have so many memories of us doing crazy things like that. He was a great friend and he always made me laugh so hard. We love and miss him dearly. I know we will be hitting ramps again.

David was a wonderful person the few times i met him he always had a smile on his face, he will be greatly missed and loved by many! gone but forever in our hearts! im glad he has found the peace he wanted

We are heartbroken for you at the loss of your beloved son. David was a great guy and he was such a good friend to our son Rockie. We have many fond memories of the time we spent together in our home, at the lake and in the athletic arena.
