David Preston Obituary
David was a registered respiratory therapist for many years in Kentucky and Acadiana. David also was a broker/owner of reliable one Realty in Lafayette for many years.
David is survived by the love of his life of 22 years... His "Girlie" Suanne Vaughan Preston of Grand Coteau, His son, MARK Preston (Cara and granddaughter Madelyn) of Nashville, TN, his daughter Mary Beth Preston, Bronx, NY, his chosen daughter, Holly Vaughan Trant (Ben and grandchildren, Betsy, and Johnny) of Arnaudville, his chosen daughter, Jill Vaughan Sewell (KENNY and grandsons Hunter, Jesse and Jaxon), Lafayette. One brother Robert Preston, Lexington, Kentucky. And one sister and brother-in-law, Donna And Mike Swinney, Kilmarnock, VA.
In 2018, David donated his body to Louisiana state medical school in New Orleans. At a later date, there will be a memorial service with military honors in Bellevue Cemetery near Opelousas.
Hospice Of Acadiana was a provider of David's care. Donations in David's name would be appreciated.
