So sorry to read of your loss. My prayers will be with you the next few days!

I wish to extend my sympathy to your family. I remember going to an SHG football game one cold rainy night. We climbed up the stands and sat with Connie,Alex, Marge and Dave. Dave offered his umbrella to my husband and I. He kept insisting as he said, "You will get wet, take it!". Just a simple gesture that shows the generosity and kindness of this man. He always had a huge smile and nice things to say. He led a great life and will be remembered with fondness by all who knew him.

Dear Marge and family, What wonderful memories we have growing up with you and Dave and all of you "kids". I think of you and Dave often, especially on the 4th of July and whenever I'm at the old KC at the lake, ... too many to even mention or the list would go on and on. Dave was a wonderful man with a wonderful family and our family is blessed and happy to have had you all in our lives. I like to believe the children's song that says, "Stars are the windows of heaven, where Angels peek through". You have your own special angel. I'm sure Dad was happy to see him! Love to you all,

Dear Marge:

Larry & I were sorry to hear about the loss of Dave. As you know, the Downey's always felt like the "brothers" and their families were an extension of our family.

Larry got to know Dave on the golf course and always said that no matter who he talked to - everyone always had great things to say about the Reid boys.
