David Resnick Obituary
He was born February 10, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, to Louis and Rose Resnick.
He graduated from Brooklyn Tech High School and the University of Vermont. He went on to teach elementary and middle school for several decades in the New York City Public Schools, starting out on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and finishing his career in Rego Park in Queens.
He was a fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers, NY Mets, Detroit Lions and Neil Diamond. He loved playing chess and checkers too!
He married Teri Blattberg in 2003 and is survived by his three stepchildren Aimee, Jason and Lauren. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Cassidy, Madison, Harrison, Ava, Tyler and Jackson. Teri predeceased David in 2019.
David is also survived by his brother Alan Resnick of Ridgewood, NJ and nephew Robert Resnick of New York, NY.
A graveside service was held at Montefiore Cemetery in Queens.
