Just found this today. I was q2 or 13 when Dancin In The Moonlight came out. To this day its one of if not The most fav song of mine. Im 65 now and dance to it every time I hear it. I had tears in my eyes watching his last performance. So long Doc and rest in peace brother.. I know you must be singing that great song like the 1st time..

I must have been about 5, maybe 6 when that song came out , living out in Phoenix,AZ . , I used to run all around the house singing that song , looking back now those were times I wouldn´t change for a thing in the world, just wished I could have heard them!! Oh my God I just found this out and I am so sorry Lauren. I am your friend that was living in Lyman Maine when you and Doc were at camp. I made you blueberry pancakes when you didn´t feel good and how you asked that I took Dave out for a drive so that you could sleep. He will forever be in my heart as he had been all of these years

I take this news with great sadness. "Doc" I will always remember the "hot" comet we rode along in and the infamous muffler shots! Better yet you were my line mate on our championship football teams at Rocky River. We sure beat up opposing linemen!!! I am so glad I talked to you recently.

What sad news. Dave and I graduated in the Rocky River H.S. class of '63. I was so looking forward to seeing him again at our 50th reunion in Sept. '13. He was such a good guy and will be missed.
