I remember David to be a very loving father who was so proud of his family. He graciously welcomed my son John into his family and treated him like a son. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to your family one and all. Words might not wipe away your tears. Sometimes hugs can't take away the pain . That said your memories will be comfort and forever remain.

I was 14 when my sister brought David home to meet the family for the first time. This boyfriend felt different. I was right, my sister was smitten, and they married just a short time after that. After I was diagnosed with breast cancer, David made sure to have my name added to the Matco drag racer during breast cancer awareness month. He was a great brother-in-law! Rest well David! We will see you soon and will want to hear about all of your cool Heaven adventures.

Too many memories to list, but will carry these memories with me forever. Never a more genuine person existed. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to call David a friend.

If it were not for the love of another we would not have to be heart-broken when such a great friend is gone. But if it were not for love then life would not be worth living. I cherish the times, the memories and the many conversations that we had. I will never forget the stories told during our annual hunting trip. I appreciate having you when I went through hard times that most never knew that I went through. You are the very definition of a friend. I am heart-broken to lose you and forever thankful to have known you. Go rest high, my brother. You fought the good fight, you have earned your wings. Until we meet again.....
