David was a good friend of mine back at Vancouver College. I remember him well, especially his stories of life in Indian Arm, his family (which he loved so much - especially his sister) the outdoors and his newfound passion of rowing. (He never failed to remind me that coming from Richmond I lived below sea level and could drown any minute). I was disappointed when he left our school and shocked to hear of his passing. Sending love, prayers and my sincerest condolences to his family. I'll see you again bro.

Dave and our son, Ziad, studied together at Brentwood College. Occasionally, we met Dave at our home. He always came across as a fine, polite person. My entire family is extremely saddened at his sudden passing away. The loss of a child is one of the greatest tragedies that any parent has to endure. We silently grieve with Dave's family for this loss and pray that his soul rests in eternal peace.
