David was a wonderful person to look after. He was a true gentleman never had a bad word to say and always had a smile on his face. He will be sadly missed.

RUBERY (David):
So shocked and saddened to hear of Dave's passing. Dave was a great character who managed to inject humour into any situation whilst commanding great respect within the electrical industry. Having known him for more than 40 years, Dave influenced the way we did things and provided valuable insight to us in our formative years. Deepest sympathy to his family and we will share with you lasting memories of an unforgettable person.

RUBERY (David):
Sadly I have lost my great friend after some 45 years. David is now with his late wife Thelma, they spent their whole lives helping others and enjoying life. David worked for the State Electricity Commission (Western Power) for over 50 years - was one of the original members of the SEC Social Club, served as President - was also a member of South Perth City Council - he was a RAAF Veteran and well know in many circles.
I recall with great pride of accompanying him on our Christmas journeys all over the State - David was a great Santa, with a car full of goodies and toys for the children all over the State. My family together with hundreds of others in WA will miss him.
Bill MacArthur.
