Dear Maxine, Willard and family,
Also David's wife and family,
I am so glad we were in the same grade in school. We had a good time in band and chorus. I enjoyed hearing him sing in the musicals at school. He had a wonderful voice.
I thank the Lord for the wonderful memories.
May the Lord be with you all.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Love and Prayers

David was my vocal coach for about 3 years during the mid 1990's. When I first came to him, I was struggling with a pitch problem. All it took was one lesson for him to actually figure out what was wrong with my technique. I will never forget what he did for me and my singing career. It's because of him, I was able to land my first national tour. I will miss him terribly. I even recently saw him on an old episode on Another World. It made me smile then and he still makes me smile when I support those "hard to hit" notes. Amanda and Evan - David was truely a remarkable man. David - Thank you! I'll miss you always.

I'm so sorry to learn about David. He was such an outstanding, talented individual. I had gotten to know him while he was a parishioner at Pleasantdale Presbyterian Church in W. Orange. Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss.
Sincerely, Debbie Scannell

Dear Mandy and Evan,
David played a very important part in the life of Pleasantdale Presbyterian Church and the Bertrand Family lives. Robert and Rebecca both learned so much from him. I enjoyed serving with him as an Elder at the church. He was such a wonderful person. I have not seen him in eight years, but remember him vividly in our lives as a family. Our best to you. Let us all remember the happy memories -- there are so many!
Our love to both of you.

David will be sadly missed by his classmates & friends. Will always remember the goodtimes we had in band & chorus. Always enjoyed our theatre productions at WRHS especially "A Very Large Toad." May music be a part of your life as you rest in peace.
