David Rutherford

David Matthew Yehuda Rutherford, son of Deonna and Juan Herrera, was born September 26, 2003 in Lexington, South Carolina.  David was baptized on July 4, 2006.  During his short life, David traveled a lot, calling many places home as they visited their family members all across the country.  David was always full of life and brought a great deal of joy to everyone he met.  One of David's favorite things to do was take his ice-fishing pole and go fishing with his dad.  He also loved playing with his Thomas the Tank Engine toys and watching his other heros, Spiderman and Buzz Lightyear with his mom and brother.



David left us to go fishing with Jesus on Thursday, September 7, 2006, having reached the age of 2 years, 11 months and 12 days.



David Matthew Yehuda Rutherford, hijo de Deonna y Juan Herrera, era el 26 de septiembre nato, 2003 en Lexington, Carolina del Sur.  David fue bautizado el 4 de julio, 2006.  Durante su vida corta, David viajo mucho, llamar muchos pone el hogar como visitaron a sus miembros todos de la familia a traves del pais.  David era siempre lleno de vida y de alegria mucha traida a cada uno el met.  Una de las cosas preferidas de David a hacer era tomar su poste de la hielo-pesca e ir a pescar con su papa. El tambien amo el jugar con su Thomas de los juguetes del motor del tanque y el mirar de sus otros heroes, Ano ligero del hombre arana y del zumbido con su mama y hermano.



David nos dejo para ir a pescar con Jesus el jueves, 7 de septiembre, 2006, alcanzando la edad de 2 anos, 11 meses y 12 dias.



Among the many people who's lives were touched by David, are his parents: Deonna & Juan Herrera of Morris; his brother: Eduardo Herrera of Morris; grandparents: Henry & Pam Allison of Herman, Alvaro Herrera of Los Angeles, CA and Gloria Serrano of Northfield; great-grandparents: Sally Ziemer of DeFuniak Springs, FL and James Rutherford of South St. Paul; great-great-grandparents: Walnetta Allison of Lonsdale and Janet Bliss of Northfield; grandparents: William Jr. & Dorothy Henninger of Columbia, SC and his aunts & uncles: Samantha Allison, Henry Allison Jr., Oscar (Jessica) Herrera, Alvaro Herrera Jr., Itamar (Pablo) Garcia, Erika Serrano (Louis Fuentez), Maria (Rolando) Gudiel and Javier Lechuga.  David was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jerome & Erma Rumpza, Margarita Nolasco & Wilfrido Serrano and Katalina Esteves; great-grandfathers: Arnold "Red" Ziemer and Henry 'Sam' Allison; uncles: Wayne "Rusty" Allison and Eduardo Herrera and one cousin: David Greybuffalo.



Pallbearers for the service are: Henry Allison Jr., Samantha Allison, Alvaro Herrera Jr., Daniel Lechuga, Violet Rose Henninger and Jeremy Price.  Honorary Pallbearers for the service are Eduardo Herrera, Alesandro Herrera and Melissa Meyer.  Elizabeth Brooks will serve as pianist for the service.  Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.



A memorial fund for David has been established at Bank of the West. Donations can be made at both Morris and Wheaton branches.
