We remember fondly the first time we met Dave and Bonnie. We were playing Bingo in Myrtle Beach, and the place was very crowded. There were only two of us at our table, and Dave and Bonnie asked if they could sit with us. That was the beginning of a great friendship with two extraordinary people. We so enjoyed our time together...attending Gaither concerts, sharing meals, playing cards, and worshiping with them at Socastee Baptist. Sending love and prayers to Bonnie and family. And to Dave: "save us a place at the table." Kathy & Steve Soltis

Dad's life was nothing short of extraordinary. He was a constant source of wisdom, love, and generosity. His strength and resilience were unmatched, and his caring touched everyone he met. He was a huge part of building and teaching me into what I am today, and I hope I can be as successful of a dad to Jordan and step-dad to Aiden as he was to me. I remember learning at a young age just from watching my dad that if you work hard and do things right, you can do anything you put your mind to. I will miss his stories, his advice, and the warmth of his presence every day. Rest in peace, Dad. Your legacy will live on in our hearts forever. Love, Troy, Kirstin, Jordan, Aiden, Kyra , Bella, and Who Dey .
