David John Seymour

David John Seymour , age 79 Clayton N.Y. passed away peacefully on Sept 8, 2023 surrounded by family.

As per David's wishes a small private ceremony was held.

David entered the navy after attending St. Mary's school in Clayton N.Y.. During his 4 years of

military service he was Promoted to the V-4 division on the USS Randolph where he served on a Mediterranean Cruise

and later would be part of the Cuban Missile Crisis. After the navy he returned to Clayton and worked in the Carpenters union in

Watertown N.Y. as a millwright. He then started his own construction company that later became Wayne Garage door Co.

He enjoyed telling stories , fixing Things and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Daughter Angela Seymour , Clayton N.Y. , Son David Seymour and his wife Gina Clayton N.Y.

Son Shannon Seymour and his wife Elizabeth and their children William, Carrington, and Andy Seymour of Huntington , North Carolina and Son Ryan Seymour , Chicago Illinois.
