David Sharpe

Well, David, as time goes by, I find myself laughing out loud at some of my memories of our times together. I know now that the last few years of your life are now nothing and you are truly at peace. It has been hard for me to understand but it has been wonderful to get back in touch with your entire family - especially the girls! You would be so proud - just like the old days. It was quite a ride and I thank you!

Pappy i can't believe you are gone and i will never get to see you again. mabye i keep on begging for you to always take me on a ride on the three wheeler i feel like i keep on pushing you to do things for me when you were probably in so much pain but when i always asked to go to the swim pool when you were living in your new house by unkle tommy you would try to look up were a close swim pool was but the last time i saw you was when my couson mandy was there and when you were in bed watching tv i would sneak up on you and when i would get on the bed you would play tickle monster.

Wow I really cant believe your gone. Its hard to watch mom grieve, its even harder to watch my little girls cry at random times because they miss you so much. Certain moments Goose says Pappy would love this and cry and all I do is hold her and tell her I love her. And that you love her very much and how special she was to you.

There are times through the past months that I think you will be back and realize nope. Addison asked Mimi when she can see you again. Broke our hearts. They really both miss you. Mom misses you everyday, she talks to you and God alot these days and I know it helps her. She wasnt good at first I was worried she may have had another stroke but she had what she called an awaking and has been coping alot better these days. She doesnt now how to start her life over again her whole life was lived everyday for you and now your not here. Through the good times and bad times, she stood with you. She has strength and she holds onto that.

Many wonderful things are said about you on here and I'm so happy the wonderful memories and the comments of how fun you were!! They made me smile thinking yep he was full of life and on the outside he really could have a great time. I'm happy your not in pain anymore, having alot going on these days I'm sure your seeing it from above. My dad passed away October 5th, just right at 3 months after you, I hope you show him the ropes and welcomed him with open arms!!

PS. getting to visit with Bridgit and Beau through this is a great outcome, you would be so proud of them. They are very beautiful girls and have great heads on those shoulders. And Scarlet is gorgeous and a brilliant minded child, Bridget has really done so well at taking care of her!!

Dear Barbara: You were both so special to the Tanglewood Office in Fort Worth. I continue to miss you and am so distressed to hear of your loss. Jim died two years ago, and I sympathize with you in an understanding way. May God give you the peace that only He can give as you face the days ahead. My devoted love to you, my dear. Barb, I still can't get over David's passing. What fun it was to work with you both. I still smile remembering some of those times. You two were the best loan officers I ever knew. My heart goes out to you and the family.

I've never loved more, or had more fun in my life than I had with David. If it hadn't been for him, I may have never watched Arthur, Blazing Saddles (More beans, Mr. Taggert?), or learned to love AC/DC. Will always remember the hours and hours of The Three Stooges we watched together. Those were the best times. David had such a beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and a love of all things sweet and funny. He gave me the most precious gift on earth, our beautiful daughter Bridgit whom he loved so very much. Dave, our girl is just exactly like us…you left a beautiful part of yourself here for us all, and we will always remember you.

My heart goes out the the Sharpe family, especially his beloved daughters who were once my step-daughters. I have thought of them often over the years and especially now during their loss. I pray that David is now at peace and that the family will find peace, also.

RIP David, We shared some good times many years ago.Farewell my friend.

All of the noise has stopped now and you can finally get some rest. I will think of you every time I eat at Angelo's, watch Blazing Saddles or Arthur, hear AC/DC or Bobby Darin . . . I'll do the shark hand as long as I live and say that everything smells like Apple Blossoms. I'm sorry that your suit had plastic buttons . . .

Well David you got away without me knowing. Sheri and I are sadden by your passing. We will miss you.

Some of my favorite memories were with David and his brother Jim. I will always cherish the good times we had. The Sharpe family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

He is fishing with Na now.

David, I will always remember the ton of fun we always had.Teaching you to race a motorcycle when you couldn't even touch the ground. After each race you would turn around and come back and I would catch you. I think you were 8. I love you brother and deeply miss you. I will see you in the next world. Jim
