I am sorry but I just learned of David's passing. As a kid in Dallas, Texas I idolized Stallworth and watched many high school games when he played at Madison. All the young guys copied his style and his game. We all knew him as "Snot." Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Dear Stallworth family, I am sending prayers and blessings to both you and Dave. I knew him while I was growing up. My father was on faculty at Wichita State and a lover of basketball. Dad would take me to every Shockers BB game and afterwards, he would make sure he went over to Dave and shook his hand, and so did I. He was always so kind, standing in line in line, shaking all these children's hands. I will always remember him with great kindness and a great smile. I will keep Dave in my prayers. God bless him.

Gloria, So sorry to hear of the passing of Dave. He was a hero to my brother and I was lucky to get to meet him and be amazed that Olive Oil married him! All of my love to you at this difficult time.

He was my hero and my friend. I was so excited when I got to meet him on 2nd shift so many years ago. I also remember getting his autograph in 1965. My dad had lots of memorabilia that I was able to pass to Dave. I loved his kindness of spirit. Prayers for the family.

I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to Gloria and the family, and to all loved ones and friends of Dave. I did not know Dave personally, but on the occasions when I would see him, I would say "Hi" to Dave, and just in the way that he would acknowledge me back, always with a warm and friendly smile, sure made me feel as if I knew him. I am sure there are many that feel the same way. So, just in knowing how he could make a person feel with his smile and friendly hello, it is easy to see how much Dave will be missed by those that knew him. God bless you Dave, and may you Rest In Peace.
Sincerely
James Rudisell

What a wonderful, gentle and kind man. I loved watching him throw rolls of tape in the basket of his bicycle at Boeing! I never saw him miss it and it once. My mother explained his legacy as a Basketball player. (She was one of his biggest fans). I just knew him from work but was one of his biggest fans too. Prayers to Gloria and the family!
