David Dean Stiles

A memorial service for David Dean Stiles, 61, of Tyler, will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. David O. Dykes officiating. A private burial will take place in Tyler under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Stiles passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in Tyler. He was born May 13, 1957 in Brownwood, TX to Hugh Stroud Stiles and Lona Mae Boozer Stiles.

David was a member of Gideons International, Hollytree Country Club, and served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Green Acres Baptist Church. David was a great athlete who loved skiing, golf, basketball, and all sports. He was a devoted man of God with a passion for God's Word and a passion for missions. He was unbelievably devoted to his family, especially Rayla his precious wife of 41 years. David was extremely kind and generous to everyone. He graduated from Ruidoso High School 1975, and Howard Payne University 1979. He held the position of Major Account Executive with Pitney Bowes for 35 years, receiving many national awards.

He is survived by his loving family including wife Rayla, daughter Lauren, son Nathan and his wife April and their daughter Ezra, and sister-in-law Sharma Wall. David was also survived by nephew Raef Wall and his wife Amanda and their children Rylan David, Ross Dean, Brynn, and Mikaela.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Bowen II, David Krafve, Raef Wall, Mike Mahler, The David Stiles Sunday School Class, South Camp Gideons, and the Deacon Body of Green Acres Baptist Church.

Visitation is scheduled from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
