Dear Mickey and Family: Jan and I are so sorry to learn of David's passing. While I never had the pleasure of meeting hi, I am sure he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. After all, he was married to you. Please accept our sincerest sympathy.

There are no words accurate enough to share how much we loved and valued David's friendship.
For over 30 years 7 kids and 8 grand kids, our families have shared far more happy times filled with so much laughter and some tears. My son said David--2 words-Big & Beer! He lives forever in our hearts and memories and we treasure him always.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of David. I had the pleasure of coaching him at Carnegie Mellon. He was a skilled basketball shooter, but more importantly Dave was a fine team player. He was a smart person and had a wonderful sense of humor. David was respected and liked by all his teammates. He was a true leader.

To the Stobbe family, I worked with Dave at Providence Point for four years as part of the original team. I learned so much from him both professionally and personally. He was such a wonderful man with great wit and intelligence. He brought a smile to all that knew him. I enjoyed my professional time with him there and also enjoyed any walks I could get with he and Bogey. You have my deepest sympathy.

To the Stobbe family:
I worked with Dave, in the mid 80's, when I started in the Search business...and, which I continue to do, to this day.
What I learned from Dave, then, I still use today. So polished and professional, I never saw anyone more skilled, working with a client, or a candidate.
But, more than that, I will remember a consummate gentleman, devoted to his family. Dave was a class act.
I'm so sad to hear of Dave's passing, and offer my deepest sympathy, in the loss of a fine man, husband, father, and grandfather.
