David W. Strohm

David W. Strohm, 42, of Vandergrift, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 20, 1969, in Takoma Park, Md., a son of William Strohm and Mary Jane Nagle Strohm, of Vandergrift, and resided in the community for the past 34 years. David had a great love of all animals, big and small. He loved being outdoors and could never get enough to read. In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers, Matt and Kristen Strohm, of Vandergrift, and Steven and Susan Strohm, of Summerville, S.C.; sister, Linda and Bill Rice, of Vandergrift, and Julie and Tony Ford, of Greensburg; niece, Abbey; and nephews, Asa, Bryan, Michael and John. Visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the MANTINI FUNERAL HOME INC., where a service will follow at 2 p.m. with Anthony Roman officiating.
