So many memories of my sweet Uncle. My heart breaks to know I will never see him again or get some of those fabulous oatmeal raisin cookies! Life is about quality and I know his life had been pain and suffering for a while. I am so glad he isn't hurting anymore. My sweet Uncle David loved me so much .... I don't remember much about growing up but I remember all of my trips to see him as they traveled in the military. I remember him teaching me how to make Lasagna! He taught me a lot when it comes to cooking.. He was the one person who took the time out to teach me how to cook things. My mom didn't cook much so I looked forward to our trips to see them b/c I knew he was cooking something fabulous up and my oatmeal raisin cookies! I loved him dearly and my trips to Arkansas will never be the same! :(... I am so glad I had the 2 hour talking, laughing time with him a week before he made the turn for the worse I would not trade one of the visits I had with him. He was truly the most awesome uncle and I am going to miss him dearly! !!! Love you Aunt Rita, Chris, Amy, and Mary!!! Thinking of all of you during this time of loss !!!

Speaking for the entire DiRocco Family, we are so, so, sorry for your loss. Our deepest sympathy is sent to all the Tatten Family. It seems like yesterday we were all young, carefree and doing what kids do in the Brighton neighborhood. Fond memories will always be with us no matter where we move to or travel to.
God Bless you all and may you find comfort in knowing David was loved by many and will always be remembered.
