My favorite band growing up. I am really going to miss him and his music. He was so talented and creative. Sending condolences to his family and friends.

After having seen Pere Ubu twice in the same week back in the early days...I move to SF where he was performing with the Pedestrians and got there early for the sound check. I jokingly yelled out "Rhapsody in Pink". Well, the concert started and about the fifth song in they played it I went and thanked him afterwards...he said... nah, nah... we already had that in our setlist. My one and only interaction. Really a great talent and Performer. He'll be missed.

Philip and I go away back. He was always considered him areal friend. I'm gonna miss seeing you around. R.I.P my friend.
