THE VILLAGES, FL- David Hinson Tillman, 70, passed away August 11, 2012. Mr. Tillman was born in St. Augustine, Florida on December 26, 1941. He moved to The Villages from Gulf Breeze, Florida in 2003. Mr. Tillman was a retired electrical salesman, and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. David was a member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Pensacola Beach Elks Club, the Shriner's Club and the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Tillman loved spending his free time playing golf with good friends. David is survived by his loving wife of thirty two years, Patricia, The Villages, FL; two daughters and their husbands, Chris and Katharine T. Brown, Orlando, FL and John Michael and Virginia T. Dunn, Atlanta, GA; and three cherished grandchildren, Michael David, Caroline Grace, and Tillman Michael. He will be forever remembered by his family and friends for his wonderful sense of humor, love of family, and his faithfulness to all. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages. To help celebrate and honor David's fun-loving memory, please wear casual attire. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Gulf Breeze. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Tee, www.donate.thefirsttee.org. Arrangements are entrusted to Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages, The Villages, Florida.
