I just found out the horrible news! I though about you numerous times over the past couple months. I just figure you were on another crazy adventure around the world and I was waiting for you to come back and tell me all about it. I'm so devastated! You had an amazing presence and it was always a pleasure speaking with you. I will forever miss our 3am chats about all the different places around the world we both have traveled or the lastest sports cars. You were always so sweet and full of life. I always admired you for that and aspire to live like you did. You will truely be missed. You were my favorite patient! May your soul Rest In Peace. We all love you.

David...
David was the positive role-model that my life had always needed. He lifted my spirit within myself with mindful guidance and loving support. I will always be grateful for His ability to show me through example more beneficial ways of being, with myself and others. I will always cherish His memory and celebrate His life with my attitude hereafter. The loss of David will be noted as the letting go of a light bright enough to ascend to better places.
With LOVE and RESPECT,

I grew up a block from David in Dobbs Ferry. We were friends when we were very young, but drifted apart in school and lost touch afterward. I was happy to see him at a recent High School reunion. I'm very surprised and sorry to hear of his loss. I extend my most sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Dear Howard -
Just want you to know how even someone like me, on the far periphery of David's life, was drawn in by his bigger-than-life presence. He was as generous as he was flamboyant. A kind, funny man who seems to have packed one hundred years of living into the sixty-seven that he spent on this planet. My wife, Linda Valentine, would light up when she heard a "hi sweetie" after answering a late night phone call from David. As I'm sure you well know, David lived life on his own timetable and the word "late" just wasn't in his vocabulary. The loss of David is heart-breaking for Linda. And for me, even on the periphery of David's life, a mysterious sense of loss. I wish I had spent more time with him.
