Dear Phyllis,
My deepest sympathy - Dave was and continues to be my inspiration in work and in life. I'm afraid I just found out or would have connected earlier. A wonderful experience to have ever met him.

Phyllis, my heart goes out to you. Dave was such a sweetheart. Jim loved being with him and the great group of guys from Pa. You and I were both blessed to have our partners in life. You will both laugh and cry with your memories in the months to come yet I know that most of all you will be grateful for his life.

To Dave's family: Don and I are very saddened to learn of Dave's passing. We will always lovingly remember him as one of the nicest high school classmates we had as we both graduated with him in 1956. Dave was an avid Ken Hi alum and was at every class reunion we had, even the yearly ones we had over the past 20 years or so. He was here for the annual golf outing and was the spark that kept the energy going. He will be deeply missed. May Dave rest in peace.

To David's beloved family, my sincerest condolences. I had the pleasure of working for David at Deloitte, and considered him a mentor. He had a way of making the most challenging assignments great fun, and also of bringing out the best in those working for him. To this day I try to live by his oft spoken credo - "The truth is welcome in heaven". And so it is, and so he is. Peace, Papa.

Although I only knew Dave for a few years, I have heard so many wonderful and funny stories about him--his intelligence, his sense of humor, and his life at Spring Valley. Phyllis, we are so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. You are in our thoughts and we wish you well. Vicki (and Chris) Hunkler
