David was a great friend to me, he introduced me to all kinds of new music, film and TV.
My fondest memories of him are when we as a group would meet at his house to play games and watch DVDs.
He was smart, funny and kind. My life is better for having known him.

I hired David on May 28th, 2014. We wear many hats in life, and rather than discuss the work hat, wanted to share a little about the hat I saw him wear.

He won our Mario Kart tournament, he would bring me left over pizza, he was fascinated with root beer. He would reach out just to say "Bro, how you holding up?" He loved humor. He would crack up until he was red in the face on inside jokes. We would message each other back and forth each week movie quotes trying to stump each other. He would message random things just to brighten your day, because that is the type of soul he was.

David wore many hats. Employee. Manager. Son. Husband. Friend. He wore them well.

I worked with David for many years. He was always pleasant, professional, positive, and found solutions. He was just exceptional every time I needed to engage with him and his team. What a loss, he will be greatly missed by his work community. Sending condolences to the family.

David had the condo next to us. We always said we had the best neighbors sharing walls with us. He was considerate, friendly, and helpful-watching our place when we were gone and chatting when meeting. We will miss his presence next to us.

I met David in school where we struck up a great friendship in the later years and through sixth form. I went to my first gig with David to see Muse in Birmingham, and after that we were obsessed with them. The following year we saw them together at Reading festival, where we had one of the most memorable weekends of my life.

A few of us would regularly go to the cinema on Friday nights, and up town to the Colloseum on Thursday nights with David, and although he preferred to hang out than to dance, when he danced, he really danced. David always knew how to make me laugh - he knew how to time a joke perfectly.

To me, David was a gentleman, a comedian, and a great friend. I loved him to bits, and he will be very sadly missed.

I've always had a deep admiration for David.

He was one of the smartest people I've met.

He was fair, just and trustworthy.

The world was richer with him in it.

Rest easy, David.

David was the greatest of friends.
The loss will always be felt; so strong was his influence to those who he loved, and those who loved him.

I feel extremely lucky to have known him, and will treasure my memories of our times and talks together.

Love you buddy

I met David at a Lord of The Rings watch party. We very quickly connected and our friendship sparked. Every day I spent with David was a joy. His presence and perspective will be deeply missed. I'm better off for having known David and I loved who he was.

David was an incredible painter. Every time I went to visit him at his house I would take some time to marvel at whatever his new painting projects were. His talent and ambition in painting always amazed me. I loved to ask about his process and decisions made in the techniques he used. I will very much miss those visits and those moments we shared together.
