David WATT Obituary
September 12, 1937 - January 30, 2014
Ron was called to be with Jesus, whom he loved, after bravely fighting Parkinson's disease and heart failure, at the age of 76. He is at peace now, with his wife Barbara who predeceased him in 2008. He will be missed by his brother and sister- in-law, Jim and Bette Watt, with their children Janice (and Robert Brooks) Stanley (and Tsitsi Watt), and their grandchildren, William, Julian, Elizabeth, Jamie and Sammy, as well as cousins and good friends. Ron spent most of his working life as a draftsman at the Vancouver City Hall. He will be remembered in a Memorial Service on Saturday, February 15 at 11 a.m. at The Salvation Army Southmount Corps, 3403 East 49th Avenue, Vancouver, to be followed by committal at 2 p.m. in the Parkview section of Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby. We are grateful to the wonderful care given to him by nurses, doctors and home-care staff in Calgary this past year, especially in the Peter Lougheed Hospital.
