David White Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 2, 2025.
David Aaron White, 74, passed away on July 18, 2025, in Longview, Washington. Born on February 10, 1951, in Walla Walla, Washington, David lived a full and vibrant life marked by deep family bonds, a passion for craftsmanship, and a love for the simple joys of life.

A proud graduate of Mark Morris High School's Class of 1969, David continued his education at Lower Columbia College from 1969 to 1971. His early years laid the foundation for a life defined by dedication-both to his work and to those he held dear.

David is survived by the love of his life, his wife Debra married nearly 52 years; their daughter Amanda Bédard and her husband James; and their grandson Carter. Carter was the light of David's life-many vacations and excursions were planned with Carter's joy and wonder in mind. David also leaves behind his brother Dan White. He was preceded in death by his father Ken White and mother Barbara White. He is also survived by several nieces and two nephews.

A man of many talents and passions, David had a particular love for restoring classic cars. His attention to detail and expert craftsmanship earned him a reputation for producing show-quality beauties that reflected both artistry and precision. Each car he restored was a testament to his patience, skill, and pride in workmanship.

David also found great joy on the golf course. Whether enjoying golf retreats with his brother or close friends, these outings offered him cherished moments of camaraderie and relaxation-an escape from the demands of owning and operating a business.

Known for his gregarious personality, David brought warmth and laughter wherever he went. He adored his family deeply and shared a special bond with his pets who were part of the fabric of his daily life.

David's legacy lives on through the memories he created with those who knew him best. May his memory bring comfort to all who loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 24, 2025, from 03:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Monticello Hotel Ballroom Longview . A celebration of life for David and please drive your class car and wear your favorite car tee. Come share you special stories and memories of our special guy.
