Uncle Dave - your truly missed! the family gatherings for birthdays, and you kicking off the birthday song, is never going to be forgotten! Fish fry's at the house, and YOUR LOVE FOR THE FAMILY!!! Being one of my favorite uncles is the hardest part for me to cope with. The wedding of you and Aunt Jo and celebration at Grandma's are for sure a highlight! Until I see you again! Love You! From 3 a.m. wake ups to go fishing at the dam in Lansing, to Dunkin´ Donuts breakfasts and Coca-Cola + M&M´s evenings. From fishing in your big blue boat and sleeping in the Great Lakes to camping out in Pentwater and going to AJ´s. I served our country just as Papa did, with honor. And I had the honor of him putting my Infantry blue cord on me, just as he wore. I only wish to be half the man he was. I am so blessed to call him my Papa. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you´ve given our family. We love you and Jamma more than anything. Your legacy lives on.

My Papa got to put my Infantry blue cord on me after I completed Infantry school. It was an honor to serve this country just as he did. He was and is the most important male figure in my life. I remember going fishing on the Great Lakes, sleeping on the big blue boat, getting sea sick from eating too many Cheetos. I remember getting woken up at 3 a.m. to go fishing for hours at the dam in Lansing. I remember our Dunkin´ Donuts in the morning, and our Coca Cola and M&M´s in the evening. He gave me so many good memories that I´ll forever cherish. I only hope to be half the man he was. Rest in peace Papa. I love you -Kyle
