I had the privilege of knowing David and working with him during his time a Park Synagogue. Together we create the family service for the High Holidays. Every time I met David, I would leave with smile on my face. His dedication to his family and to Judaism was a driving force in his life and he was a role model. Even discussions with my sons over Professional Wrestling, were meant to keep them involved and to see him as friend and not just a Cantor/Teacher. The Jewish community was a better place because of David's dedication and love. He will be missed by all who knew him and all he touched. His daughters should know that there father was a remarkable person and that he was very proud of them. May you be comforted with all the mourners in Zion. The world is a little less bright today with David no longer in it, but his memory endures for all he touched.

So sorry for your personal loss and the loss in the Jewish Community at large. I had the honor to work with David as I hired him as one of my teachers at Temple Beth Shalom in Hudson Ohio. He certainly was instrumental in instilling the love of Torah, the love for The State of Israel, and menchlechkite to our students and their families.
May David's memory be a blessing.

We enjoyed having Cantor chant at our high holiday services at Beth El. He was in my older sisters class and I always looked up to him as a mentor and a friend. He will be missed...

I have fond memories of David growing up in Akron, Ohio. He was a nice person with very nice parents. He was a good friend with a lovely voice. May his memory serve as a blessing to every person he touched. I will say Kaddish for him.

Cantor Wolinsky was a thoughtful and pleasant man. It was wonderful to sing along with him at Temple Beth Shalom in Hudson, Ohio. David's voice always covered everyone's off-key singing. He was a great cantillation (chanting) teacher; he prepared our son Benjamin to be a bar mitzvah.
It is so sad and way too early. Our thoughts and prayers are with his sister and daughters.

This is such a shock. I've known David ever since he was a teenager and a choir member at Beth El Congregation in Akron. He served as guest cantor at our High Holiday services just a few years ago. My thoughts and condolences to his family.

May G-d bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I was friends and a classmate of Davids at Hillel Academy . He had a wonderful spirit and full of joy. I know he will be missed by all. May we all remember all the good times that we have with David. Truly a good person.
