David Worley Jr.

I remember when I was taking a class he taught. He began a discussion about whether it is possible to be without sin for an entire weekend. It was a simple question but led to a long back-and-forth involving several students. He was gentle and kind, even in debate. It all seemed to come so easy for him.

I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. (Isaiah 61:1,2) With heartfelt sympathy.S

So sorry to hear of David's passing. I knew him and his family at meadowbrook before his Dad passed. God bless this family.

Good memories about David and Melinda as singers in my ACU Choir and as friends for almost 50 years. I guess if I had to choose a word to describe David it would be integrity. He used his time, his influence and his money in well thought out ways. It's comforting to know that his influences will outlive him by decades. Sing well, friend. See you later.

I just heard this morning of David's passing from this life. He was always an encourager to me, and I have admired his unselfish service to the church and to the world; both are better because of his work. Melinda, Sherla and I want you to know that our prayers are with you, the girls, and the rest of your family at this time. We will miss David greatly. Grace and Peace.

Loved by many who knew him personally, and many who knew him because of the Light and Love of God that he brought far and near. May the Lord of all comfort bring you peace. He will help you through this challenging time.

David will be sorely missed here on earth. He blessed all he came in contact with. God called His servant David home where he will join the chorus of those cheering those of us who are still running the race!

I have known David to be a godly man since he was a teenager. I was blessed to know him. Peace and comfort to those who are missing him.

David was, for awhile, my college roommate and presided at my wedding. He excelled as a dedicated christian, family member, friend and scholar. "The Lord bless you and keep you."

Our Father's grace, peace, and saving health to the family of Dr. David Worley who was my most trusted teacher and faithful guide. I pray that our Father will allow David to rest in peace as he waits to be raised in glory. Keith and Renee Porter
