It is of great sadness to hear of the loss of Sprockett. He was a great, and very kind person. It was always the highlight to go watch my brothers play hockey with the Davidson Cyclones. After every game, Sprockett always made time for the younger Davidson hockey fans. Dave, thanks for the great memories. My thoughts and prayers are with the Ziefflie family.

Condolences to all the family and friends Of Dave. May your memories give you strength.

Some of my fondest memories of Sproket are from High school, specifically sitting at the back of the class (where all the good kids sat)for chemistry and physics. The special bond he had with Mr. Merkosky and that memorable hallway "discussion".

Dave will truly be missed by all that met him.

Our deepest sympathy to Dave's (Sprocket) family. I will remember Dave for his "wicked sense of humour" and charming smirk. The Brandt hug, I can see Sprocket coming up with that. {{{hugs}}} Sprocket. Rest in peace cousin Sprocket.

Dave, alias Arni, Sprocket... It is with great sadness that we extend our sympathies to the Ziefflie's and Dave's family. We grew up with him, he was a character with quick wit, mischievous smile, and great sence of humour. Almost 'movie star' status (beer commercial), and great cook 'chef boy Arni', we will always cherish the memories we have. Many people are very sad today, RIP Dave, your one of the good ones!

I knew Dave for many years. Worked with him, played hockey with him, drank a lot of beers with him and even sang karoki with him.(his idea) Dave was a standup guy, one of the best I've ever known. When you cracked that "tough guy" exterior you found a warm hearted guy with a great sense of humour. That's the Dave I remember...and the reason why I'm shedding more than one tear while I write this message.
* Miss ya buddy, wish you were still here
