COSTELLO
DAWN, passed away on Dec. 23 after a brief illness. She was the beloved and adored daughter of Winnie (Lobosco) Utkus and the late Stanley Utkus. Dawn was a 1973 graduate of the Archbishop Ryan School for Girls in Philadelphia. She was chosen for the 1972-1973 edition of "Who's Who of American High School Students." She was a court reporter for the City of Philadelphia for many years. A world traveler, she lived and studied in Italy for five years. She was a sales and marketing professional, specializing in the hotel industry. She later returned to court reporting as an independent contractor. Dawn loved her family and friends, dancing, music, the Philadelphia Eagles, and making people laugh. Besides her mother, she is also survived by her Uncle Bill and many cousins who loved her dearly. A giving and generous person with a heart of gold, she lit up a room wherever she went. Dawn will be missed by so many. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday 10 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 followed by her Service 11 AM. Int. private.

Hi Winne, I know it's been a long time but this is Kevin Mitchell, my partner Jeff Miller worked with Dawn at Penn Tower Hotel. I just heard about Dawn's passing. Jeff and I shared many good times together with Dawn and she will always hold a special place in my heart. I will always remember her and the laughter she brought into ours lives. Dawn and Jeff were like brother and sister and I can only hope they are both resting in peace and enjoying the laughter.

My deepest sympathy and with love,

Kevin Mitchell
